Years ago, we went on several trips on tall sailing ships with a company named Windjammer and then, later, with its successor company. These were grand experiences where adults, from 18 to 80+ could go back to the more carefree lifestyle of their formative years. If you wanted to be active all day, you could do so. If you wanted to lounge on deck or on a beach all day with a book you could do that. In short, you could become a kid again, enjoying life and making up games and experiences as you went along.
We also enjoy camping, again for the freedom to spend a few days enjoying life with a more carefree approach to life. While planning our dream camper we decided to name it Landjammer, a tribute to the tall sailing ship experiences. When we found our favorite place in Mexico it seemed only natural for us to call it “LandjammerMexico” — a place to relax and enjoy a beautiful sunrise, a serene white sand beach, or any or all of the many activities this unique area affords visitors and residents alike. The magical place, the interesting people, the incredible food, the turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea and the extraordinary history are incredible and we look forward to sharing this special place and experience with you.
